02 The product range

Choose the
right strength.

S / 02

A complete family of TMT grades — Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 500S, Fe 550, Fe 550D and Fe 600 — with allied steel products, thirteen diameters from 6 to 50 mm and project-focused support for every kind of build.

Seven grades.
One discipline.

Select the grade around structural design, load demand, ductility requirements and the engineer’s approved specification.

01 / Core range500

Stena Fe

500

Supplied as Fe 500, Fe 500D and Fe 500S. A high-ductility family balancing strength, elongation and fabrication-friendly behaviour for a wide range of RCC structures.

Fe 500Fe 500DFe 500SGeneral RCC versatility
Often considered for

Homes, apartments, commercial buildings, institutional work and general reinforced concrete construction.

02 / High strength550

Stena Fe

550

Supplied as Fe 550 and Fe 550D. Higher-strength options for demanding designs where load capacity and reinforcement efficiency are important.

Fe 550Fe 550DMaterial efficiencyDemanding applications
Often considered for

High-rise, industrial, infrastructure and engineered projects subject to approved structural design.

03 / Peak strength600

Stena Fe

600

Our highest-strength grade, engineered to reduce steel consumption and bar congestion in heavily loaded members while retaining dependable workability.

Highest yield classLeaner reinforcementCongestion reliefEngineered structures
Often considered for

High-rise towers, bridges, metro and heavy infrastructure where dense reinforcement must be rationalised.

04 / Beyond the standard650

Stena Fe

650

For designs that call for a yield class above the Fe 600 ceiling. IS 1786:2008 does not define a 650 grade, so this is rolled and released against a specification agreed in writing for each order.

Made to orderAgreed specificationEngineer approval requiredNot IS 1786:2008
Often considered for

Specialised structures where the design explicitly requires yield strength above Fe 600 and the structural engineer has approved a non-IS grade.

05 / Corrosion shieldCRS

Stena Fe 500D

CRS

A corrosion-resistant TMT chemistry with copper and chromium additions for structures exposed to moisture, humidity and salinity.

Corrosion-resistant chemistryLonger service lifeCoastal suitability500D ductility retained
Often considered for

Coastal and marine construction, basements, water-retaining structures and high-humidity industrial environments.

01Available diameters

Sized for the
way you build.

Thirteen diameters from 6 mm binding-scale bar right through to 50 mm heavy reinforcement — so a single supplier can cover slabs, columns, rafts and heavy infrastructure members.

Availability can vary by grade, order quantity and production schedule. Final selection should follow the structural engineer’s bar bending schedule and approved project documents.

Every bundle is tagged to its heat number, so what arrives on site can be traced back to the batch that produced it.

Oblique crescent ribs and longitudinal lugs give the bond that RCC design depends on. Dimensional checks cover diameter, weight per metre and rib spacing before release.
